 As Finance Manager (m/f/d) you are directly reporting to the C-level and will be an essential part of our journey, with plenty of opportunities for your own personal and professional growth. 

Your Responsibilities

• Build up Finance practice at Q and be go-to person for all accounting, controlling, data and tax related topics
• Implement and maintain structures that provide transparency for a scaling company
• Preparation and update of Business plan / budget 
• Monthly forecasting and actuals reporting
• Project controlling 
• Collaborate and coordinate external accounting, payroll and tax services
• Accounts payables / receivables
• Preparing (board) presentations and reports
• Data driven analyses to provide transparency
• Supporting the COO in day-to-day operations
• Taking on special projects as needed

 

Your Profile

• Completed degree in business management, finance, accounting or similar fields and 5y+ professional experience in similar roles.
• Broad finance generalist mindset with hands-on experience across finance operations, controlling and accounting.
• Proven startup operator who thrives in unstructured environments, builds processes from scratch, and personally creates high-quality financial work products (e.g., management reports, forecasts, analyses) when needed.
• Strong business partner to leadership actively supporting strategic and operational decisions, translating financial data into clear insights.
• Confident coordinator of external partners (accounting, tax advisors, payroll providers), while retaining the ability validate outputs or to step in when required.
• High ownership, independence, and bias for action, combining attention to detail with pragmatism and the willingness to “get hands dirty” rather than delegating execution.
• Experience within M365 environment are an advantage, e.g. Fabric, PowerBI and/or Power Automate
• Excellent German, English and MS Excel skills, both written and spoken
